LinkedIn Announces AI-Powered Collaborative Articles

LinkedIn is also using AI to expand on its content. The social media platform has announced that it is commencing with a new initiative called Collaborative Articles that will use AI-generated prompts to call on specific users for their inputs.

What are Collaborative Articles?

Collaborative Articles are knowledge topics published by LinkedIn with insights from LinkedIn Community. These articles start with AI-powered conversations that are developed with LinkedIn’s editorial team. Later, by using LinkedIn’s Skills Graph, the team matches each article with relevant member experts who can contribute their insights into the topic. These experts will be chosen on the basis of their professional experiences.

This is one easy way for professionals, users and experts to come together and discuss on relevant topics and share their views.

What happens next?

Then comes the feedback. After you have read a collaborative article, you can then give your reaction by clicking on the ‘insightful’ reaction helping your network find insights.

Collaborative articles can help you find new people, experts in a particular area or a subject that will help enlighten you on the subject of your choice. The question now arises in your mind is ‘If I am investing so much time here, what do I get in return?’.

Well, being a contributor, you will be earning a ‘New Community Top Voice Badge’ in your areas of expertise for sharing your insights. You can see these badges on profiles and next to contributions in the articles.

Collaborative Articles will create more equitable ways to open doors to knowledge across various professions and skills.
