A month and a half back, we had done a story on how brands need to participate on online question-and-answer (Q&A) forums. In this issue we revisit Q&A forums because of the launch of a new platform that has caused quite a stir in the social networking domain, since the start of 2011.
Quora, which is plural form of quorum, is an invitation only Q&A. First launched in private beta on January 4, 2010 the site is a continually improving collection of questions and answers created, edited, and organized by everyone who uses it. It’s one of the hottest invitations in town right now. And for a question and answer site that’s saying something.
Already touted as the site to watch out for in the year 2011, there’s a magic to Quora that has captured Silicon Valley’s imagination. Click here to read more about what the site is all about.
